I spent some time yesterday making wet cyanotypes. They are pure alchemy. ✨ I read somewhere that if cyanotypes fade due to the sun, they can actually be stored in the dark for a time period to restore their original cyan color. So fascinating.

I had the pleasure of doing this pet portrait commission of a lovely dog, Ruby! Painting her beautiful face was a joy! ✨

Villageless, Oil on Gesso Board |
We had a great time in Fort Smith this weekend at the reception for Beasts of the Imagination at Fort Smith Regional Art Museum. My painting, Villageless, will be on display there until September. I had never been to Fort Smith until this weekend and I was thrilled to discover it’s full of great food and public art!

My favorite piece in the show was Lost Dog by PJ Mills (above).
One of many incredible murals in Fort Smith |
We found so many amazing Asian restaurants there.. on the left is Pho Vietnam and on the right, Mai Pad Thai Cuisine.
During all this, the Steel Horse motorcycle rally was happened to be going on in Ft. Smith, so that was fun to experience.
