Framed some of my wet cyanotypes. I love them.

The prairie really feels like the ocean sometimes in all its expansiveness. As above, so below.

No ticks! How do I do it? Honestly, I have no idea. I saturate myself with bug spray, of course, but just a couple of weeks ago I was hiking with my husband and he got several dozen while I got zero. I like to joke that the prairie protects me.

Goat's Rue

I observed this mushroom daily for about a week (until we couldn't put off mowing the lawn any longer, haha). It was so interesting to see it transform through growth and decay.

I love how surprising they are. They are absolute magic, I swear.

Making wet cyanotypes again today 

A "dry" one!

I spent some time yesterday making wet cyanotypes. They are pure alchemy. ✨ I read somewhere that if cyanotypes fade due to the sun, they can actually be stored in the dark for a time period to restore their original cyan color. So fascinating.
