This is normally very out of my wheelhouse, but I made a tiny whimsical children's book using only a single piece of paper (printed front-to-back). I plan to use this method to make a tiny zine next. It's a super cheap method since it only uses one piece of paper and a couple staples - you just have to format and fold it correctly.
