These nonobjective watercolor paintings are about balance and sensual, fluid forms. The organic lines, forms, and colors create a sense of compositional harmony in each painting, but as a whole, I tried to surrender control of the work's outcome and paint intuitively. The medium lends itself to much spontaneity.
Now that I am finished with college and once again removed from thinking of art in a traditional, competitive sense, I am striving to return to the core of what creation is fundamentally about (for me, right now). These paintings are a reflection of my journey to create peace and balance in my all aspects of my life.

My oil painting, "Lemacado", will be on display at the Pittsburg Public Library for the next six months. This will be a bi-annual rotating display by local artists and art owners.

"The roots we have now are not those of trees and thicket. Sterilized and alienated as our culture has become  - we get meaning only through that moment when the hammer meets the pavement."

In progress...
I recently painted a Jagermeister logo at a local bar called The Jungle. It was excruciatingly hot outside, and I only got three hundred dollars for maybe 5 days of work. C'est la vie. I'm not really into projects like this, but I guess it was easy money. I drew the line (pun intended) at painting signs on the front and side of the bar, though. Scaffolding is not for me. I will not risk my life for 300 bucks, especially if I'm getting a sunburn to do it.

This is me modeling the Jagermeister logo in action. Clearly it is being appreciated. Lots of patrons are flocking to The Jungle just to be blown away by my handiwork. I didn't even have to move those trash cans to the side or anything.
